Malone Staffing has an opening for a Industrial Painter in the Owensboro area. If you are looking to turn a job into a career, this is the position for you! Candidate must be willing to work 8 or 10 hour day shifts.

4-5 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coating and or painting with spray gun or brush and rollers on surfaces such as tanks, pipes, shells, skids,
• Prepares surfaces for painting by cleaning off dirt, grease or grit blaster sand from the surfaces using solvents, wire brushes, steel wool and an air gun
• Maintain production output and quality assurance
• Recognize and identify, non-paint related repair or maintenance items (spray gun, etc.)
• Perform timed traverse or repeat adjustments of turntable movements (forward, swivel, and reverse) on large complex metal or nonmetal assemblies
• Interpret sandblasting related work orders to plan materials, tools, and techniques needed for completion of work
• Review all work performed to ensure compliance with all OSHA and NACE standards
• Strip and prepare various surfaces for painting
• Knowledgeable of safety practices relating to ventilation of confined spaces
• Must be a self-motivated / self-starter

Shift : 7a 3 : 30p / 7a- 5 : 30p
